Hiking
Hiking is also a great way to capture memorable photos and create lasting moments with your loved ones after the big day.
The Bobsled Hiking Trail located at Snow Summit is a 2-mile footpath that traverses the forest canopy under Chair 1, with moderate incline/decline and panoramic views of the Big Bear Valley throughout the journey.
Hikers looking for a less rigorous route at Snow Summit can take the Scenic Sky Chair to the top of the mountain and explore the aptly named Mountain Top Loop trail on a 1-mile excursion that starts and ends at Skyline Taphouse Although not quite as aggressive as the Bobsled Trail, the trail is still considered an intermediate trail and proper aggressive tread footwear is strongly recommended.
Snow Valley's Longhorn hiking trail offers amazing views of the infamous Slide Peak, views of the west, rock formations, and more. For those looking for a smoother, less daunting trek, guests must take Chair 1 up to access this 3/4 mile loop and enjoy the alpine good times before taking the lift back to the base.
