Where is the snow play area located?
The snow play area is situated at the base of the tube park between chairs 12 and 13.
What is the cost of a snow play area ticket?
$20-$29 based on midweek, weekends, holidays, or peak periods. No minimum age required.
Can I buy snow play area tickets at the ticket window?
Tickets will be available for same-day purchase at the ticket windows. However, if the area reaches max capacity, Snow Valley has the right to turn off ticket sales at any time. Tickets cannot be purchased online or in the call center.
Are there any restrictions for snow play, such as age or height requirements?
Currently, there are no restrictions, but individuals must have a waiver on file.
Can children be left unsupervised in the snow play area?
No, we will have signage indicating that children must be supervised at all times.
Are personal items like shovels or buckets allowed?
Yes, personal items are allowed unless we encounter issues that require us to adjust our policy/rules.
Are personal sleds or inner tubes allowed?
No, personal sleds or inner tubes are not allowed at this time. The Snow Play area will provide a limited amount of snow play items for public use on a first come first served basis. For guests looking for downhill adventures, please purchase a Snow Tubing time slot.
Are dogs permitted in the snow play area?

About Coyote Creek Tube Park
The new and improved snow tubing area at Snow Valley will make its debut for the 23/24 winter season. Come check out the brand-new moving carpets and tube lanes located on the west end of the base area.

About Grizzly Ridge Tube Park
Located at Snow Summit, the Grizzly Ridge Tube Park is great for outdoor enthusiasts of all ages. Skip the hiking and take a magic carpet to the top of the tube park, then slide down our 4 (four) 300-foot tubing lanes as fast as you can in one of our high-speed tubes. Tubing is offered during the winter and summer months.

Weather conditions and temperatures can vary greatly in the mountains. Big Bear Mountain Resort highly recommends all guests wear multiple layers, including a moisture-wicking base layer, insulating middle layer, and water-resistant outer layers. Water-resistant accessories (ex. gloves), mid-calf socks, and protective eyewear (sunglasses) are also recommended.

Refund & Cancellation Policy
Guests may change or cancel lift ticket, lesson, rental, or activity reservations up to 3 full days prior to the scheduled date for a full refund. Changes or cancellations made within 3 days, up until the day prior to the scheduled date, will result in an Activity Change Voucher being issued for the full value of the activity cost (no fee). Same-day changes, cancellations, or failure to show up to your activity will result in a full forfeit of your payment.
