Ski Butlers will officially end services for the 24/25 winter season on Sunday, April 13. However, to ensure availability, all rentals must be booked at least 24 hours in advance, meaning the final day to reserve online is April 12. If your ski date is on April 13, we’ll still provide service. Starting Monday, April 14, please make arrangements to pick up rentals directly from the rental shops.

OPTION 1: Traditional Delivery

Get your rental equipment delivered to your lodging in Big Bear Lake. Our legacy delivery service offers easy, convenient fittings with customary support throughout your rental period.

Start by selecting your fitting date, equipment type, and age in the search bar below at least one day before your reservation date. Then, choose up to 5 multi-day rentals that must be used consecutively (back-to-back). Next, pick your performance level based on your riding style. If it's your first time skiing, select "First Timer Ski Delivery." For first-time snowboarders, choose "Performance Snowboard Delivery."

Want to meet us in the Big Bear Lake village or have us roll up to the parking lot (no drama, we swear)? Just pick a time, and we’ll bring your gear right to you, whenever you are.
  • Guests with their own boots.

  • Those who prefer more freedom on vacation and don’t want to stick to a specific delivery time.
  • Guests arriving “after hours” (after 8PM) who don’t want to wait for a morning fitting.
  • Guests without lodging.

  • You choose the time and place to meet us.
  • All waivers & paperwork will be sorted ahead of time, ensuring a quick and seamless pickup.
  • Great for riders who know exactly what gear they want; not ideal for first-timers.
The Ski Butlers Express option must currently be booked directly through the Ski Butlers website, as online booking features are still being set up. Visit https://www.skibutlers.com/, then choose "Big Bear Mountain Resort" under "Where are you going?"

For "When to Deliver," pick the date and time you’d like us to have it ready for you to pick up. For "When to Pick Up," select the date you’d like us to collect your rentals for return.

Next, add your equipment to the cart, click the cart icon to start the checkout process, and create an account or check out as a guest. Change your delivery option to "Ski Butlers Express" and leave us a note in the "Delivery Location" section to let us know where you'd like to meet up, or select "Add delivery address later." There's no commitment at this point—we’ll reach out leading up to your pickup day to confirm everything.

OPTION 3: Slopeside Valet

Your gear will be waiting for you on a Ski Butlers rack in the base area, ready to grab on your way to the snow. This is the fastest way to get your equipment rentals.

  • Footwear may need to be stored in a day locker, which comes with an additional fee.

Ski Butlers uses dynamic pricing to manage demand, to ensure delivery of the same exceptional service to all customers. If you need to add more renters to your order after your initial booking, their package price may be different from existing renters.
No. Pricing includes skis, boots, poles, and full delivery, support, and pickup services. Helmets, goggles, high performance boots and damage coverage are add-ons.
Ski Butlers premium package are skis created by Parlor and Wagner*, two companies specializing in custom skis. Ski Butlers worked with their designers to create skis specifically designed for the resorts their customers will be skiing at. They also partnered with Whitespace* to offer a premium snowboard designed by Shaun White. Read more about premium packages.

Ski Butlers Express is a same-day rental service that has your gear ready at the resort base, allowing you to pick it up and head straight to the slopes without delay. Guests can reserve in advance to guarantee availability and choose from high-quality skis, snowboards, boots, poles, and helmets suited for all skill levels. The Ski Butlers Express team is on-site to assist with any adjustments or gear swaps, making it easy to enjoy a hassle-free ski experience.
Refund & Cancellation Policy
Guests may change or cancel lift ticket, lesson, rental, or activity reservations up to 3 full days prior to the scheduled date for a full refund. Changes or cancellations made within 3 days, up until the day prior to the scheduled date, will result in an Activity Change Voucher being issued for the full value of the activity cost (no fee). Same-day changes, cancellations, or failure to show up to your activity will result in a full forfeit of your payment.

Before making a purchase, please review the Activity Change & Cancellation Policy page for complete details on what is refundable and non-refundable. PLEASE NOTE: The purchaser must be present and provide a valid physical government-issued ID and the form of payment used to purchase the reservation at time of check in. No exceptions

Once you make a purchase, if those funds are removed from Big Bear Mountain Resort's account and given back to you, your purchased tickets will become void and irredeemable for entry. Fraudulent attempts to force a bank or credit card chargeback by claiming you didn’t make the ticket purchase or can’t identify the purchase on your bank statement will result in being barred from attending future events hosted by Big Bear Mountain Resort.


Using Gift Cards, ACV, and other Forms of Payment
Gift Cards, Pass Holder Discounts, Pass Cash, and Activity Change Vouchers cannot be applied online at this time. These forms of payments can only be used in-person or by calling 844.GO2.BEAR. Credit card tokenization is the process of de-identifying sensitive cardholder data by converting it to a string of randomly generated numbers called a "token." Similar to encryption, tokenization obfuscates the original data to render it unreadable in the event of a data breach or other exposure. If you are having issues with your card, please call your bank directly.
Risk Warning
Skiing, snowboarding, mountain biking, and other outdoor activities have inherent risks that may result in property damage, personal injury, or death. GUESTS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR OWN SAFETY AND ASSUME ALL INHERENT RISKS ASSOCIATED WITH PARTICIPATING IN OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES. All guests must follow the Big Bear Mountain Resort rules of conduct and NSAA Responsibility Code. Visit the Safety page for complete details. Lift tickets and season passes may be suspended or revoked without refund at any time for failure to comply with resort rules, misconduct, nuisance, reckless behavior, or fraudulent use. Anyone attempting to use a lift ticket or season pass fraudulently or in a manner for which it is not intended is subject to prosecution under California Penal Code 537(b). Policy on Lift Ticket Purchases & Age Verification
Anyone found purchasing child tickets for personal use as adult tickets will be deemed engaging in fraudulent activity. Big Bear Mountain Resort is committed to rigorously enforcing the utilization of tickets in accordance with their designated age categories. Any patrons discovered using tickets intended for a different age category will be promptly escorted from the resort and may incur additional consequences, potentially including a ban from future visits to Big Bear Mountain Resort.
Avoid Fraud
Lift tickets are non-transferable and are not for resale. Violators may be prosecuted under California Penal Code 537 PC. To ensure the safety of our guests and employees, all ski, snowboard, and bike lessons at Big Bear Mountain Resort must be booked with a certified, BBMR instructor. Anyone found offering/selling or purchasing a 3rd party/non-BBMR lesson at BBMR will forfeit their resort access, including lift privileges, and be subject to prosecution, pursuant to California Penal Code 537 PC.
