Head to Bear Mountain on Saturday, April 5, 2025 for SoCal's most bodacious springtime bash aka Bear Break. Break out your raddest retro gear and send it in style at Southern California’s best springtime bash, featuring a pond skim, retro fashion show, and live performance by Sun Room, presented by Beachlife Festival. Come celebrate the season and enjoy the regions’ best snow conditions and most rideable terrain, with vendor activations in the base area and prize giveaways, including Beachlife Festival tickets for pond skim and fashion show winners.

Valid lift ticket or season pass required to participate in pond skim. Concert is free for all ages and parental discretion is advised.

Retro Fashion Show Contest Rules

THE FOLLOWING RULES APPLY TO ALL BEAR BREAK CONTESTS – PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

Pond Skim: Valid lift ticket or season pass required.
Retro Fashion Show: No lift ticket or season pass required.
Participants must be present at the designated contest time and may not be under the influence of any intoxicants.
All outfits and props must be in good taste and provide appropriate body coverage and proper support.
Obscene gestures, offensive language, and other inappropriate conduct will result in immediate disqualification and possible removal from the resort.
Participants are responsible for any property damage or injuries caused as a result of their outfit, props, and on/off-hill conduct.

BBMR reserves the right to refuse or disqualify contest participants at any time. Parental discretion is advised for all live entertainment. Registration for the fashion show and pond skim are limited, with availability on a first-come, first-served basis. All events are subject to change.
