There are NO blackout dates for Ikon Pass, BBMR Anytime Pass, and Snow Valley Anytime Pass holders at Big Bear Mountain Resort during the holidays.

The 24/25 BBMR Midweek Pass is valid for lift access Monday-Friday only + any nights with Night Session (yes, that's including Saturdays and Sundays!). This pass type is blacked out Dec. 23-27 & 30-31, Jan. 1-3.

The 24/25 Ikon Session passes are blacked out Dec. 26-31, Jan. 18-19, Feb. 15-16.

It's advisable to have snow traction devices in your vehicle due to unpredictable weather changes. CalTrans may or may not be mandating snow chains/cables on all 2WD. Not required for 4WD or AWD, but highly recommended. Give yourself an extra 3 hours more-than-usual travel time. Expect heavy delays.

Please be aware that we are unable to predict or anticipate CalTrans enforcement actions. Our recommendation is to be prepared for any possible scenarios.

Whether you want to extend your ski day, or simply enjoy the adventure of riding under the stars, join us for Night Sessions from 3PM-8:30PM at Snow Valley and Snow Summit. A Night Session lift ticket or 24/25 season pass is required to ski or snowboard during Night Sessions.

Children ages 4 and under and seniors ages 80+ ski/snowboard for free. Kids & senior tickets are not limited and do not require an advance reservation. Visit the ticket windows during operating hours to redeem. Valid physical ID required. Not available for online redemption.

Discover a plethora of dining choices spanning Snow Valley, Snow Summit, and Bear Mountain. A lift ticket is necessary solely for on-hill dining spots. The majority of dining establishments are situated in the base areas and are accessible to all.

Snow Summit will host the 60th annual Torchlight Parade on Dec. 31, 2024 with a New Year’s Eve party to follow in the base area with kids activities and live entertainment.
