It's official. Bear Mountain is scheduled to open for the winter season on Friday, November 29 for pass holders and lift ticket purchasers. Get stoked and come take your first laps of the season as we kickstart Friday through Sunday operations until daily operations begin on December 15.
For opening weekend, only Chair 9 will be available with limited terrain and park features for advanced riders. Beginner terrain will not be offered and it is highly recommended that all beginner to intermediate riders head over to Snow Summit.

Road Conditions
SR-330 has reopened after months of repairs from the damage caused by the Line Fire. Please drive cautiously, as loose debris from the hillside could create obstacles on the road. The soil remains unstable due to the burn, and with rain and snow expected this winter, driving conditions on SR-330 may feel different than what you're used to.

Lift tickets, season passes, and lesson/rental reservations are available for purchase online, in-person at any open ticket window, at the BBMR Visitors Station in the Big Bear Lake Village, or by calling 844.GO2.BEAR.

Bear Mountain ticket windows will open at 8AM with Chair 9 spinning at 8:30AM. For opening weekend, only Chair 9 (for advanced riders) will be available with limited terrain and park features. Pass Pick Up
Season passes must be picked up at ticket windows during operating hours. The purchaser/pass holder must be present upon pick up and present a valid physical photo ID, with proof of age, such as a birth certificate, passport, or valid driver's license.

Lessons
Bear Mountain will offer Friday through Sunday group and private ski/snowboard lessons until daily operations begin on Dec. 15. Book your spot online today before popular class times sell out.

Parking
Upper lot and remote parking lot access will be available for free on a first come, first served basis. Tailgating is not permitted at Big Bear Mountain Resort. Follow the Parking attendants and digital signage to know where to go.
Guests that have already purchased a Premium Parking Pass may pick up their pass during operating hours. These passes will not be mailed to you.
IMPORTANT NOTE ON THE INTERMOUNTAIN SHUTTLES: The free shuttle that connects Bear Mountain and Snow Summit will not be operating during opening weekend.
